My Story & Background

My Personal Biography

"I was born on 5th March 2003 at Machilil Village, Kipchorian, and raised in Kapgwen Estate, Chebchabas Ward. My life's story represents the true reality, struggles, and hopes of millions of young Kenyans across our republic."

My early education was built across community-rooted primary schools. From 2009 to 2010, I studied at Koruma Primary School. I continued my studies at Kipchorian Primary School between 2010 and 2011, and completed my primary cycle at Changoi Primary School from 2012 to 2017. Through discipline and academic dedication, I secured admission to Kaplong Boys High School, where I studied from 2018 until April 2021.

In August 2022, I joined the University of Eldoret to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Currently in my 5th and final year, my engineering training has redefined how I view public administration: governance is an intricate machine that requires precise design, systematic maintenance, zero friction, and radical efficiency to serve every citizen.

"Kenya does not lack resources or brilliant minds. Our country suffers from poor structural maintenance and broken systems. My presidency will bring precise engineering logic to rebuild our economy."

My Address to the Nation

Why I Am Vying For Presidency

Presidential manifestos written for every citizen, profession, and age group.

1. My Fellow Kenyans: The Engineering Imperative

My name is Collins Kipkorir Yegon. As a youth born in Machilil Village, raised in Kapgwen, and currently completing my 5th year studying Mechanical and Production Engineering at the University of Eldoret, I stand before you to declare my candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic of Kenya in the upcoming general election.

I am not running to fulfill personal ambition, nor do I belong to the old political class that has recycled promises for decades while our youth languish in unemployment and our households sink deeper into economic hardship. I am vying for the presidency because I believe Kenya is a grand machine—rich in fertile land, blessed with unmatched human talent, and located at the heart of East Africa—yet it is currently operating with broken gears, severe leakages, and zero preventive maintenance.

In engineering, when a system fails to deliver its intended output, you do not simply paint the outside or give eloquent speeches. You diagnose the root causes, replace defective components, eliminate energy loss, and optimize the engine for maximum efficiency. That is precisely what I offer our country: systematic, objective, transparent, and result-oriented governance.

2. An Approachable Government For Every Kenyan

Whether you are a mama mboga in Kibera, a tea picker in Kericho, a university student in Eldoret, a bodaboda rider in Kisumu, a school teacher in Garissa, or a corporate professional in Nairobi—this movement belongs to you. Our political party and platform are built on one simple principle: governance must be understandable, accessible, and accountable to every single citizen regardless of age, tribe, or social status.

We will eliminate the culture of opaque public procurement where taxpayers lose hundreds of billions of shillings every year to corrupt cartels. My administration will introduce an open-source, digitized public financial ledger. Every tender awarded, every shilling allocated to infrastructure, and every disbursement sent to counties will be publicly traceable on a real-time online dashboard accessible on any mobile phone.

3. Industrialization & Youth Production Powerhouses

As a mechanical and production engineer, it breaks my heart to see millions of educated, energetic young Kenyans walking the streets without dignified employment. Kenya cannot build a lasting economy by simply relying on raw commodity exports and importing expensive manufactured goods.

My government will establish 47 County Industrial Tech-Parks specifically tailored to local raw materials. We will manufacture our own agricultural machinery, assemble our own solar panels and electronic devices, process our own food products, and fabricate our own construction materials locally.

By providing tax incentives to local manufacturers, lowering industrial power tariffs through expanded geothermal and solar grids, and reserving 40% of state procurement for youth-led engineering ventures, we will create over 2.5 million direct production jobs within our first three years in office.

4. Restoring Agriculture & Ending Food Insecurity

Agriculture is the backbone of Kenya's economy, yet our farmers are exploited by middleman cartels, high fertilizer costs, and erratic climate conditions. I pledge to treat agriculture as a strategic technology industry.

We will construct solar-powered micro-irrigation networks across all agricultural wards, establish municipal cold-storage warehousing to prevent post-harvest losses, and connect farmers directly to state food reserves and international buyers via digital marketplaces—guaranteed minimum returns for tea, coffee, maize, avocado, sugarcane, and livestock farmers nationwide.

5. Practical Education & Universal Dignity

Education must prepare our children for the modern digital economy. We will overhaul university and TVET curricula to focus heavily on practical engineering, artificial intelligence, renewable energy technologies, and commercial agriculture.

We will make higher education fully funded for STEM and critical skill sectors, convert student loans into interest-free grants upon graduation into public service, and ensure that every public school in Kenya is equipped with solar power and high-speed internet.

6. My Solemn Pledge To You

I offer myself to serve Kenya with complete dedication, humility, and technical focus. I do not come to you with deep pockets or political godfather protection—I come with a clear mind, clean hands, a humble background from Machilil and Kapgkwen, and an unyielding commitment to build a prosperous nation for all of us.

Join me in this movement. Let us stop complaining about bad leadership and start engineering the nation we deserve.

Standing With Me Means Standing For Future Generations

"Together, we will build a transparent, industrialized, and dignified Kenya where no youth is left behind."

Messages to 10 Key Professions

How my presidency will engineer direct economic dignity for your specific trade.

1. University & College Students

As a student leader and 5th-year engineering scholar, I understand your daily struggles. My administration will guarantee fully funded tuition for STEM programs, mandate paid 6-month industrial attachments for all technical students, abolish interest rates on student loans, and provide free high-speed fiber internet across all public university campuses.

2. Farmers & Agriculturalists

We will eliminate middleman brokers who exploit your hard work. My government will implement guaranteed minimum prices for tea, coffee, grain, milk, and horticulture, deploy solar-powered irrigation pumps to every ward, and establish localized agro-processing factories in all 47 counties so you capture full value for your produce.

3. Engineers & Technicians

No foreign firm will lead public infrastructure projects without local engineering partnership. We will enforce a mandatory 60% local engineering procurement quota on all state projects, fund rapid prototyping centers nationwide, and place engineers at the center of national economic design.

4. Healthcare Workers

Our doctors, nurses, clinical officers, and community health promoters deserve total support. We will establish a unified Health Service Commission for standardized payroll, ensure every public facility is fully stocked with essential medicines, and provide permanent pensionable employment for community health workers.

5. Teachers & Educators

Teachers shape the future of our nation. My administration will streamline career progression based on objective merit, confirm all intern teachers on permanent terms, equip schools with digital learning labs, and ensure timely, dignified salary reviews that match inflation realities.

6. Jua Kali & Artisans

We will modernize the informal sector into an industrial power. We will build modern Jua Kali parks with continuous 3-phase power, high-grade tools, and direct state purchase guarantees—reserving 40% of all public furniture and construction fabrication for local artisans.

7. Bodaboda & Transport Operators

You are the lifeblood of transport and commerce. We will establish state-backed affordable insurance schemes, end harassment by traffic law enforcement through digital regulation, and provide low-interest financing for operators transitioning to high-efficiency electric motorcycles.

8. Tech Innovators & Freelancers

We will make Kenya the Silicon Valley of Africa. We will eliminate taxes on imported computer hardware for startups, establish public co-working tech hubs with gigabit internet in every ward, and enable seamless global payment integration for remote workers.

9. Civil Servants

Public administration will be de-politicized. Promotions will be driven strictly by performance, civil servants will be equipped with modern digital tools, and pensions will be disbursed automatically within 30 days of retirement without bureaucratic bottlenecks.

10. Environmentalists & Water Engineers

We will invest heavily in climate-resilient engineering. We will expand solar water desalination, fund massive reforestation campaigns employing youth, protect critical water towers, and build sustainable flood-control reservoirs across vulnerable basins.
